Diversity and Equality

Overview:

This course is for staff and anyone wishing to develop a greater understanding of the principles of positive cultures where diversity and equality is ensured.

The course looks at attitude, culture and the effects of discrimination and will raise delegate’s awareness about how everyone can value individual differences and talents and create a culture where everyone can participate, thrive and contribute in society.

• Legislation

• Human Rights Act 1998

• Understanding what is meant by “ Protected Characteristics"

• Best Practice Guidelines
