Person Centred Planning

Overview:

This course is aimed at staff who need to develop knowledge and skills in formulating Person Centred Plans with individuals. It looks at the purpose and value of Person Centred Plans and different styles and methods that can be used.

The course will be interactive and allow delegates to try out producing a person centred plan and evaluate the outcome.

Person Centred Plans are widely used as a positive way of including the person in the process of obtaining information about their choices, views and wishes.

• Who can benefit from a P.C.P

• What is the process involved

• Who can complete a P.C.P

• Different models methods used in P.C.P

• P.C.P are they effective in care planning

• Completing your own P.C.P

Costs:

This is a one day course costing £400 (no vat) and can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates.
