Overview:

This course is aimed at staff in social care and other industries. It addresses issues of attitude and values held by society that impact on marginalised groups. Delegates will explore their own value base and how this influences their own practice.

The course is thought provoking and informative. It enables delegates to identify how attitude and values impact on behaviour and service delivery.

Course Content:

• Understanding SRV and its core principles

• Personal development and SRV

• Exploring attitudes and values

• Effects of Labelling

• Using SRV in improving service delivery

• Effects of discrimination

• Core Themes, Core Values ‘Making every day work’

Costs:

This is a one day course costing £400 (no vat) and can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates.

The course can also be combined with Mindfulness training delivered over 2 days
